Responsibilities:
- Rotate between days to clean an estate home in Cambridge, Ontario; and an Office/ Facility in Waterloo, Ontario.
- General housekeeping include, but are not limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets and area rugs.
- Clean, disinfect and sanitize bathroom and kitchen fixtures and appliances.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Restock own cleaning supplies when necessary; reimbursement provided.
Requirements:
- Previously experienced as a cleaner, both in home, and in office environment.
- Must have a reliable means of transportation.
- Must have a clean criminal record.
Job Summary
Firstly, we are looking for an experience Cleaner- both in home and in office. This position is on a part- time basis- working 2 or 3 days per week. The hours are flexible in that the employee may start from 8AM or 9AM; and work until 4PM or 5PM- depending on the start time. The employee is expected to work an 8 hour shift- but is flexible to choose start time and the days of work.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to alternate between cleaning environments. They may choose to clean the home one day out of the week, and clean in office the rest of the days. The home is an estate located in a secluded community in Cambridge. The office is located in a Waterloo- based facility about 22 minutes from the Cambridge home. Please note, the employee will only be required to focus on one location per day. unless requested otherwise.
Secondly, the selected candidate will have a background check administered. Therefore, it is crucial that the candidate has a clean criminal record. Additionally, the candidate must have a reliable means of transportation. Both to get to and from the different locations comfortable, and to pick up additional cleaning supplies (*if necessary) while on the job. Please be advised, that any cleaning products purchased during shift will be reimbursed. All cleaning equipment is available on site for the successful employee.
