- 10AM- 3PM and 5PM- 10PM
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Lunch and dinner shift

Responsibilities
- Plan and direct Japanese Fusion inspired cuisine in a casual, fine dining establishment based.
- Consult with clients regarding specialty functions, if necessary.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Estimate food requirements and associated costs.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
- Recruit, hire and onboard kitchen crew.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Head Chef is required.
- Previous experience creating a variety of fusion styled dishes, is a must
- Ability to build and motivate a team of efficient kitchen Staff.
Job Summary
Firstly, we are looking for an experienced Head Chef specializing in Japanese dishes for a restaurant in Kleinburg, Ontario! The ideal candidate will share a passion for food, and a drive to continuously maintain a high standard of Japanese dishes.
Secondly, the Executive Chef will essentially be held responsible for the success of the kitchen, and the restaurant experience as a whole. Therefore, it is imperative that the Head Chef is confident with coaching current staff, building teams and maintaining establishment standards.
Third, the ideal candidate will have a passion for cuisine and cooking, with a Californian style inspiration. The Executive Chef is expected to create delicious options and isn’t afraid to think outside of the box. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be well versed and knowledgeable enough to suggest or enhance menu items.
