Pay Rate of an Office Administrator:
$19/ hour + benefits
7:30AM – 3:30PM
Monday to Friday
Draft documents and prepare reports.
Input data for payroll system.
Basic bookkeeping entries.
1 year minimum experience in an Administrative role.
Familiar with inputting payroll and bookkeeping data.
We are looking for an Office Admin for a Concrete Contractor Company. Training begins in July as the employee will shadow the current Office Admin. By August, the employee will fully assume the role confidently. In the meantime, the current Office Admin will transition out of the role.
Firstly, the ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills. They will be communicating via email and telephone. They are expected to communicate both with external and internal sources. For example, they may have to contact clients and/ or employees for meetings, orders, schedule changes or confirmations. Therefore, it is critical that the candidate be proficient in both.
They will also have previous experience in inputting information into ADP. If the candidate hasn’t used ADP, they must have experience with another Payroll system. In addition, the ideal candidate must have previous experience with basic bookkeeping tasks. Tasks such as preparing and sending invoices and receipts. In addition to that, they will process payroll and maintain employee records.
Lastly, because it is a concrete company with various job sites, the Office Admin will be involved in many projects. This may include scheduling and planning.
The candidate that we are looking for is looking for a long- term opportunity. Aside from experience, the ideal candidate will be organized, personable and possess strong computer skills. Lastly, they must have previous experience with Microsoft Office.
