Responsibilities
- Oversee day to day management and production within 3M certified large format printing division.
- Plan, schedule, strategize and oversee all graphic production and installation.
- Prioritize print jobs to align with production schedule; reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates appropriately.
- Provide training and direction to employees working in the Print department.
- Update and maintain the production schedule.
- Coordinate and cooperate directly with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders in order to facilitate and deliver quality products and services.
- Meet all client commitments through the production and installation of timely, high quality products.
- Produce accurate print samples and graphic templates for client verification and approvals.
- Prepare, update and communicate production and installation schedule with stakeholders.
- Continuously monitor quality, accuracy and timelines of all orders to meet or exceed client delivery expectations.
- Ensure inventory is maintained and cost effective purchase practices are followed.
- Verify timely and accurate invoicing of all print production and installation jobs.
- Schedule and ensure performance of all equipment maintenance following procedures.
- Coordinate and manage all inventory supplies.
- Update Owners and team members to guarantee that production, sales and client objectives are being met.
- Alternatively, communicate to Owners any production or equipment problems.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Managerial role specifically within a printing environment.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS6, Photoshop, and RIP Software.
- Skilled operationally with large format printers, plotters and laminators.
- Strong competence in applying written instructions to machine set up and maintenance.
- Excellent knowledge in all facets of print production and installation.
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Good math skills.
